These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the public website, membership application flow, private app, events, and related services operated by The Golden Unicorns Legacy SL (“The Golden Unicorns”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Adults Only

The Golden Unicorns is for adults aged 18 and over. By using the website, applying for membership, or using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

The Nature of the Service

The Golden Unicorns is a private fellowship for gay men. Access is curated. Submitting an application, paying a fee, or creating an account does not guarantee admission, continued membership, invitation to any particular event, or indefinite access to any specific feature.

Accounts and Accuracy

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when applying or using the service. Accounts are personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

Memberships, Billing, and Invitations

Memberships, pricing, renewal structure, and included benefits may change over time. Specific payment terms, including whether a charge is one-time, recurring, manual, or invitation-based, are governed by the offer presented to you at the moment of purchase or onboarding.

Payments and card setup may be handled by third-party processors such as Stripe. Failure of payment, chargeback abuse, or misuse of billing systems may lead to suspension or termination of access.

Renewal and Cancellation

Memberships are annual and renew automatically for successive one-year periods. We will send a renewal reminder by email at least 45 days before each renewal date, stating the price and how to cancel.

You may cancel at any time from your profile or by writing to oracle@thegoldenunicorns.com. To prevent the next renewal, cancellation must be made at least 30 days before the renewal date. If you cancel, your membership remains active until the end of the period already paid. We do not retain anyone who wishes to leave.

Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from a membership purchase within 14 days of payment, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund, by writing to oracle@thegoldenunicorns.com from the email associated with your account.

After this period, annual membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Paid Gaytherins and experiences may carry their own cancellation conditions, stated at the point of booking; if we cancel a paid event and cannot offer an alternative date, you will receive a full refund for that event. If we terminate a membership for reasons other than a breach of these Terms, the unused portion of the year will be refunded pro-rata.

Private Conduct and Confidentiality

The fellowship depends on trust. You agree to treat member-only spaces, private messages, profiles, stories, Salon posts, Oracle exchanges, and Gaytherin details as confidential unless the relevant people clearly choose otherwise.

Without explicit consent, you may not screenshot, screen-record, photograph, copy, forward, export, publish, repost, or otherwise disclose private member content, conversations, or event details to third parties. This includes content from chats, Salons, profiles, guest lists, and member-only screens.

Photography and Filming at Gaytherins

Private Gaytherins and fellowship experiences may be photographed or filmed. You will be informed at registration, and attendance implies acceptance of appearing in the resulting material.

If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, inform the organisation in writing at oracle@thegoldenunicorns.com before the event and we will respect it. We reserve the right to use this material for the promotion of the fellowship on our own channels. We will never sell or transfer your images or your personal data to any brand or platform without your prior, express, individual consent; any commercial collaboration involving a member’s image proceeds only with that member’s agreement, on terms accepted by them.

Encrypted Messages

Private messages between members in the app are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read the content of your private messages, and we never sell or share message content.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the website or app to harass, threaten, exploit, dox, impersonate, defraud, stalk, spam, or otherwise harm others. You may not interfere with the security or operation of the service, scrape or copy the service at scale, reverse engineer restricted parts of it, or use the fellowship for unauthorised commercial solicitation.

You may not upload or share unlawful content, infringing content, malicious code, or material that violates the dignity, privacy, or safety of others. We may investigate reports, remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts where needed to protect the fellowship.

Moderation and Safety

We may monitor safety signals, review reports, and take action where necessary, including warning, limiting, suspending, or permanently removing a member or applicant. We may also cooperate with law enforcement or legal authorities where required by law or where necessary to protect people from serious harm.

User Content

You retain rights in content you create, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the service. By submitting content to the website, app, or membership flow, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, moderate, format, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate, protect, and improve the fellowship.

You confirm that you have the right to submit what you submit, and that doing so does not violate the rights of any other person.

Oracle, Salons, and Celestial Features

Oracle, celestial guidance, Salons, and related experiences are part of the fellowship experience. They are offered for reflection, connection, and participation within the product and are not medical, legal, mental-health, or financial advice.

Intellectual Property

The Golden Unicorns name, marks, logos, website, app design, copy, visual system, and fellowship materials remain our property or the property of our licensors unless clearly stated otherwise. You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, or commercially use them without prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

Parts of the service rely on third-party providers, including hosting, authentication, analytics, communications, storage, and payments. We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time if we believe these Terms, our safety standards, or the trust of the fellowship have been breached. You may stop using the website at any time, and members may request deletion as described in our Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page.

Disclaimers

The website, app, and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Golden Unicorns Legacy SL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, reputational, or punitive losses arising from the use of the website, app, events, or related services. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred euros (€100), whichever is greater.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence applies and cannot lawfully be excluded. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect product, operational, or legal changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or through the app before they take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
